TNPSC Jailor Recruitment 2022: Notification for the TNPSC Jailor Recruitment 2022, 06 Vacancies are out. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is offering great work opportunities to eligible and interested Indian citizens for the recruitment of posts of Jailora ( Man) and tailor (Special Prison for Women) in Prisons & Correctional Services Department included in the Tamil Nadu Jail Service. The last date of online registration is 13th October 2022.

Post /Vacancies: 

Salary of TNPSC Jailor:

• Rs 36,900 – Rs 1,35,100/- (Level 18) 

Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Recruitment 2022:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline awarded by any Institution/ University, recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

• Preference shall be given to those candidates who have a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration and next preference shall be given to the candidates who have Master’s degree in Social Work.

• Candidates applying for the vacancy must possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Age Limit for TNPSC Jailor recruitment 2022:

• For the General category - 32 to 37 years
• No Maximum age limit for Reserved category candidates.

Selection Process for the TNPSC Jailor Recruitment 2022:

• Oral Test 
• Written Examination (Objective Type) (OMR / CBT Method)

Physical Standards for TNPSC Jailor Recruitment 2022:

• Chest: 81 - 86 Cms for SC, SC (A)
• ST, 79 - 84 Cms for all others.

• Height: 160 Cms for SC, SC (A)
• ST, 165 Cms for all others.

Application Fee for TNPSC recruitment 2022:

• Registration Fee - Rs 150/- only, The one time registration system will be valid for 05 years.
• Examination Fee - Rs 150/- only for candidates belonging to General and OBC category.
• No fee applicable for SC / ST / MBC / BC / BC (Msulims) / Ex-servicemen / PwBD and Destitute Widow.

How to Apply TNPSC Jailor Recruitment 2022?

• Eligible and interested candidates should apply online through TNPSC Exams Portal from 8th August 2022.
• The candidates first register "One Time Registration". Successfully registered One Time Registration is valid for five years from the date of registration.
• The candidates should have a scanned image of their photograph, certificates specified in the application.
• The last date for registration of online applications is 13 October 2022.
